The dandy dandelion

Then - such a nice dream.

Dandelion in open field
The wind in gusts
It blew and blew
Those fluffy seeds
Flew high high high
Right right up
To the blue blue sky

A wonderful day
The sky so clear
Blue clear vibrant
Sun shining true
Cute puffy clouds
Floating in the sky
Making pictures
For all to spy

The cool cool wind
Served to fuel
This twirling
Swirling girl around
God's azure sky
His gentle breeze
The sun He placed
Wide open space
The whirling free
The smiling face

O'er field 'n wood and open sky
The dandy seed did fly and fly
And when the rightest time, it came
God's gentle hands a cradle framed
She landed in a meadow near
The open sky so free from fear

As she landed, that tiny seed
Green scape sprinkled, coloured flower
Still so soft - quaint fluffy power
Stopped and drank and sunk new roots
By living waters, rocks and shoots
(Hope she still fits in her boots)

The Word, its healing, reaching power
The power of love, not love of power
Grew a dandy dandelion,
Roars so loud, Coats a'shinin
Spreading life and cheerful hope
Eternal life for those a'bidin.

She awoke. And it was good.

I wonder why I have to be right

I wonder why I have to be right
In everything I do?
From everything, To EVERY thing
Makes things so hard to do

It saps your will, and makes one tired
Oftentimes, afore one begins
These kinds of thoughts just get one mired
Why am I this kind of being?

Despite what Jesus did on the cross
Where he hung and suffered terribly
He has done ALL upon the cross
There’s no more need to fight so horribly

As Jesus has already justified
In pain, humiliation and sorrow
But Grace and Mercy is his Light
It is in him I need to wallow

When will I know I’m not the boss
Grace and Mercy comes from above
God’s favour simply flows and flows
When will I decide to accept the love
That God has given from above

The Edge of Tears

Today, is a day, the edge of tears
Feelings filling, swirling, waiting fears
They sit just behind warm dark eyes
A weightiness that strength belies

Then - the thought that made them spill
Right over the soul's window sill
A brushing thought that pushed them over
To cloud window's light, curtains clovered

Each perfect tear, like heaven's rain
That spill from clouds onto our plain
Bestowing life so very precious
Bringing smiles and laughs to the precocious

Each a diamond, brilliant, clear and hard
Untold gems - sadness, joy and fury
Where clarity clashes with misty swirls
A whorl of wins and losses, songs and loves

Liquid trickles down weathered cheeks
Signs of life etching grooves and lines
But each a step that takes us forward
To a new life, another day of purpose

It takes purposeful very conscious thoughts
To change the think that I think to thought
Thank God for the Peace, Hope, Love and Joy
Jesus' precious blood has wrought and bought

Face life with courage and kindness

Whoa. First real Saturday of being really alone, after 41 years of busy-ness, every single day. As tough as it is, it is good, and I wonder that I can smile and cry at the same time.

Time to face life with courage, kindness, and gallop forward with leaps of faith. Joy isn't waiting. It is in my heart, just waiting to curve as a smile on the lips, and shine as a twinkle in the eye.

If God clothed the lilies in the field with such absolute beauty and unequalled finery, what do you think he has for you, Skittles? Fret not. He loves you so very very much. Keep your eyes on Him alone, and thank Jesus for the Life that He has already sacrificed for you, and for Mmalyn, Tthiu and Tchell.
