The dandy dandelion

Then - such a nice dream.

Dandelion in open field
The wind in gusts
It blew and blew
Those fluffy seeds
Flew high high high
Right right up
To the blue blue sky

A wonderful day
The sky so clear
Blue clear vibrant
Sun shining true
Cute puffy clouds
Floating in the sky
Making pictures
For all to spy

The cool cool wind
Served to fuel
This twirling
Swirling girl around
God's azure sky
His gentle breeze
The sun He placed
Wide open space
The whirling free
The smiling face

O'er field 'n wood and open sky
The dandy seed did fly and fly
And when the rightest time, it came
God's gentle hands a cradle framed
She landed in a meadow near
The open sky so free from fear

As she landed, that tiny seed
Green scape sprinkled, coloured flower
Still so soft - quaint fluffy power
Stopped and drank and sunk new roots
By living waters, rocks and shoots
(Hope she still fits in her boots)

The Word, its healing, reaching power
The power of love, not love of power
Grew a dandy dandelion,
Roars so loud, Coats a'shinin
Spreading life and cheerful hope
Eternal life for those a'bidin.

She awoke. And it was good.
